In a 2018 financial disclosure released Wednesday, Trump cited reimbursing Cohen but made no mention of a $130,000 payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels, who says they once had a sexual tryst.

Cohen has said he fronted the money for Trump, but the president did not list any debts to the lawyer in his federally required financial disclosure filing past year.

The Office of Government Ethics found on Wednesday that Mr Trump ought to have revealed the payment in his previous financial disclosure. Check back for updates. "The category of value would be $100,001 to $250,000 and the interest rate would be zero". Membership fees at the club doubled to $200,000 after Trump's 2016 election.

Asked if the payments were similar to the $130,000 amount paid to Daniels to stay quiet about her 2006 affair with Trump, Avenatti said "yes".

"No", Trump said. "I don't know". "And I think as the evidence rolls out over the coming months disclosures will be made that my client was not alone as relates to these payments", Avenatti said, referring to his client Stormy Daniels.

Farrow's report includes details of payments made by Cohen on behalf of Republican fundraiser Elliot Broidy, related to a $1.6 million hush money pay-off to a Playboy Playmate named Shera Bechard.

Cohen has repeatedly said the potential deal was dead in January 2016, but BuzzFeed News reported Thursday that Cohen and Sater were still working on the project well into Trump's campaign in 2016 and that a meeting between Trump and Putin in Russian Federation was not finally ruled out until July 2016.

Cohen worked fervidly not only to have a Trump Tower built in Moscow but also reportedly angled for Trump to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin during the 2016 campaign.

The disclosure shows millions in 2017 income from rents, licences, book and television royalties, company shares, hotel management fees and golf courses, with interests from India to Dubai.

Qatar declined the offer, which came a few days before a December 12 meeting that year at Trump Tower between the Persian Gulf state's foreign minister and Michael Flynn, who became Trump's first national security adviser, the Washington Post reported Wednesday. However, new documents show that Trump's personal attorney was attempting to smooth out a deal until at least May of the same year.

Novartis and AT&T have said they were contacted by the office of U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller about the situation in late 2017.

In fact, Sater tells BuzzFeed that he and Cohen were still planning on travelling to Moscow even after Trump had secured the Republican nomination for the presidency - and that they had wanted Trump himself to travel to the country to work out a deal during the campaign.
