The Forgotten Fact That Proves Michael Jordan Is Better Than LeBron James

Point guard George Hill turned in his most aggressive and effective game of the series, scoring 20 points on 7-for-12 shooting with a flawless 6-for-6 mark from the free-throw line to go with three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 34 minutes.

When LeBron James fell to the floor in agony midway through the fourth quarter of the Cleveland Cavaliers' Game 6 victory over the Boston Celtics, it was clear that he wasn't acting or flopping. James, who played in all but two minutes of the game, scored 46 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished nine assists. James has historically performed well in Game 7s.

There's a lot of hype surrounding Game 7.

The importance of Love in that category wasn't lost on the Celtics.

The Celtics will have a bit of an edge in the physicality department from the tip in Game 7: Cavaliers star Kevin Love was ruled out with a concussion on Saturday, stemming from a collision with Jayson Tatum in the first quarter of Game 6. James would exact revenge on Detroit the following year, however, when he'd lead Cleveland past the Pistons in the Eastern Conference finals to reach the NBA Finals for the first time. "Our team is built on me being out on the floor to be able to make plays not only for myself but to make plays for others". While comparisons to the 2017 ECF are lacking as that Cavs vs. Celtics battle only went to a Cleveland winning Game 5, last night was the best ECF or WCF Game 6 that ESPN has had since 2012.

"I think (coach Tyronn Lue) said it best: 'We're going into a Game 7 with the baddest dude on the planet on our team.' I like our chances".

LeBron's detractors will note that despite his consistently stellar performances in elimination games, he's also 3-5 in the NBA Finals. Love, however, immediately went down and left the game.

In a simply epic 109-99 Game 6 team performance last night in OH, the 2016 champions showed the Boston Celtics it ain't over until its over.

"As soon as I leave here and head home to Akron I'll start to prepare", LeBron said.

LeBron James hopes to "play great once again" in his bid to reach an eighth straight National Basketball Association finals.

"I didn't see him coming", said Tatum, who stayed in the game and played 39 minutes.

So far this series, Love has (surprisingly) played much better in TD Garden than he has in Quicken Loans Arena.

"It's gonna be tough", Cavs point guard George Hill said.

With injuries to some key pieces, the Celtics have basically gone with a seven-man rotation against the Cavaliers - bringing Marcus Morris and Marcus Smart off the bench.

If you're going to basketball war, there is nobody better to have leading the charge than the most ideal basketball machine ever created - even if he might be a little winded.

The Celtics need to be moving the ball well, they need to be protecting the ball and they need to be getting all the easy buckets. "You've got to find a way, whatever it takes".

For the Celtics, Terry Rozier was exceptional - hitting six from 10 from three-point range as he poured in a team-high 28 points and added seven assists - while Jaylen Brown continued his strong post-season, with 27 points.
