The fingerprint sensor is in about the same place as the Pixel 2's, and even the Google logo (which appears to have been spoofed the hide the identity of this test device) is in the same place. There is a larger slit at the bottom of the device which confirms it has stereo front-facing speakers.

In either case, the phone here is shown in Fastboot Mode, revealing various aspects of the hardware.

Google Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 will stick with a single rear camera lens. We've got the same single camera and materials, with the only difference being a change in Google's logo. Another highlight of Pixel 3 XL will be a glass back design, though it is unclear at this point if the phone will support wireless charging. Apparently, Google is planning to add dual front cameras (at least that's what it looks like) to the Pixel 3 XL.

In addition to these features, the Pixel 3 XL might not feature a 3.5mm earphone jack. The SIM card tray is still there as well, though it's been moved to the bottom of the phone for one reason or another. Google is also said to be working on a third mid-segment Pixel smartphone, which is codenamed "Bonito". The back panel is glossy, rather than the matte one seen on previous generation phones, suggesting a glass back. There's a lot of time for the company to make changes in subsequent prototypes so while these images give us an idea of what to expect, we should be open to some changes in the final product.
