Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday said he was ready to meet his USA counterpart Donald Trump as soon as Washington was ready, adding Vienna could be a possible venue for such a summit.

Russian Federation was expelled from the grouping in 2014 after it invaded and annexed Crimea and for its support for pro-Russia separatists in Ukraine.

President Donald Trump suggested ahead of arriving at the G-7 summit Friday that the group offer a seat at the table to Russian Federation.

"This medal of friendship represents the Chinese people's lofty respect for President Putin, and symbolises the profound friendship between China and Russia", Xi said.

"China and Russian Federation are permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and are both great responsible countries", Xi said. The latter now includes the United States, Canada, Japan, Britain, Italy, France and Germany.

"This leads me to believe that dialogue may prove to be constructive", the Russian leader added.

At the same time he downplayed tensions at the acrimonious G7 meeting in Quebec City, after Trump disowned the joint summit statement and lambasted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Speaking about the Skripal case, discussed at G7 summit, Putin noted, that "nothing new" was said on the matter, stressing that "it is necessary to stop chatter and move on to cooperation".

Putin said that Washington's decision to exit the agreement could "destabilise the situation" in the region.

In first, Afghan Taliban announce cease-fire for Eid holiday
The government cease-fire will begin on June 12 and last through Eid al-Fitr holiday, June 19, not including al Qaida or ISIS. The Taliban said "foreign occupiers are the exception" to the order sent to its fighters around the country.

SCO states also include four ex-Soviet central Asian republics and new members Pakistan and India. "He is my best, most intimate friend".

"China's "highest honor" is bestowed on foreigners who have made" outstanding contributions" to the country's modernization drive and helped maintain world peace, Xi said.

And he warned it was now the United States, and not "usual suspects" such as Russian Federation, which posed the biggest threat to the current, Western-led global order.

He has also refused to condemn the Russian strongman over the Kremlin's interference in the US presidential election, at one point suggesting he trusts Putin's denials of wrongdoing over the findings of his own intelligence agencies.

For his part, Rouhani said the "US effort to impose its policies on others is an expanding danger".

Rouhani, for his part, denounced the "illegal" United States withdrawal from the worldwide nuclear deal with Tehran.

With the president of aspiring full member Iran looking on, Putin said Moscow still supports the Iran nuclear deal that Trump recently abandoned.

Trump's rejection of the global climate accord and Iran nuclear deal, supported by the European Union and Canada is going to be another flashpoint in the increasingly acrimonious relationship between Washington and its Western allies.
