Chinese President backs nuclear deal in talks with Iran leader

President Donald Trump delivered a stern warning on trade to foreign countries at the Group of Seven summit on Saturday, advising trading partners not to retaliate against USA tariffs on the imports of steel and aluminum.

Russian Federation and China have responded to the USA national security strategy describing them as America's top adversaries by vowing to further expand their economic, political and military cooperation.

Mr Putin also criticised the USA withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear deal in a speech at the summit.

Trump said in March that he and Putin would meet soon, but since then already poor ties between Washington and Moscow have deteriorated further over the conflict in Syria and the poisoning of a former Russian spy in Britain.
