Anthony Scaramucci, Huntsman's guest and Trump's former White House Communications Director, appeared not to notice Huntsman's mistake and continued talking.

"Fox & Friends" co-host Abby Huntsman seemed to slip up Sunday while discussing the upcoming summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, calling it a meeting of "two dictators".

Trump, a regular proponent of Fox News, had not responded to the error at the time of publishing.

As you know on live TV, sometimes you don't always say things perfectly.

She later apologized on the air, but that didn't stop the gaffe from taking over Twitter, sparking ire from the right and jokes from the left. The mislabeling occurred during a live broadcast of Trump deplaning from Air Force One in Singapore, where he has traveled to meet with actual dictator Kim Jong-un of North Korea. Did Abby Huntsman just say "THE MEETING BETWEEN TWO DICTATORS" referring to pres Trump and Kim Jun Un'.

She also apologised on Twitter, writing: "Apologised on the show".

She also tweeted a second apology in the afternoon, "I'll never claim to be a ideal human being".

The meeting has been downplayed by Trump in recent days. He can take that nation, with those great people, and truly make it great.

Seemingly sensing Hunstman's slip, Scaramucci opted to brush the comment aside, opting instead to give the US president some praise.

"This gaffe is probably the most honest thing ever said in the program's history", one person tweeted.
