Under normal circumstances, the news that Skyrim - the fifth main Elder Scrolls game first released back in 2011 - is being ported to another new platform would hardly be a surprise. But it also knew how to have a little bit of fun - even though some of it actually turned out to be real.

During its E3 showcase on Sunday, Bethesda introduced a video of what appeared to be a comedic spoof for "Skyrim: Very Special Edition" - an Alexa "port" for its immensely popular game, "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim". Unfortunately, I don't have an Echo to try it out but it likely works similar to what the video shows and, if nothing else, is an amusing way to spend your day waiting for news.

The video clip starts off with comedian Keegan-Michael Key casually sitting on a couch, pondering over which device to play by gesturing toward console controllers and a TV remote.

It's pretty damn hilarious to see him lose his mind while playing the game (only to be told "Is there a command for picking shit up?"), but here's the thing. It's actually real, albeit in a very tongue-in-cheek way.

Enable Skyrim - Before you can play, you will need to enable the Skyrim Game on Alexa. And yes, some people love it so much they'll pretend that's what it is.
