The new leak reveals an iPhone X Plus that not only packs a larger 6.5-inch screen than the current 5.8-inch model but more cameras too.

According to some sources, Apple has asked its iPhone suppliers to make about 20% fewer parts for the iPhones releasing in next half of 2018. According to the schematics, it could introduce the bezel-less design with a notch on top. While not pictured, the flash is expected to be on the right side of the three cameras.

Apple is supposed to begin three new iPhones in 2018: a 6.5-inch "iPhone X Plus", a second-generation iPhone X, and a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone. Some concept renders have also been leaked in the past for some of these models, but now we have some schematics of the first two models that reveal possible design elements.

The alleged "budget" iPhone model has a 6.1in display - it's not confirmed but presumably this is LCD rather than OLED.

iPhone X Plus: The First Triple Camera iPhone?

As per the Forbes report, the iPhone X Plus will have a 6.5-inch OLED display, and might sport a vertically-stacked triple camera configuration. Considering Apple is set to make triple lens cameras a standard in 2019, it wouldn't be surprising to see the company adopt it early for its higher-tier handset.

Moving on, the 6.1-inch iPhone is being tipped as the more affordable model among the three planned iPhones. Other details that add to the price include a steel chassis, shrunken notch with upgraded Face ID 2.0 and a body more compact than the iPhone 8 Plus. The schematics show a single rear camera.

The bodyshell measures 147.12 x 71.52mm and the phone will not feature 3D Touch in the display, presumably a cost cutting exercise. We advise users to take this information with a pinch of salt as all mainstream media has already published stories confirming the triple camera setup, however, we firmly believe the schematics are depicting an iPhone X like dual camera system. That's longer and wider than the current iPhone X, which measures 143.6 x 70.9 mm (5.65 x 2.79 inches).
