Per this report from TechRadar, Netflix has paired up with Telltale Games to bring simple game experiences to the streaming service. It will not be an interactive story appearing on Netflix. Furthermore, Netflix has already dabbled in this field with interactive adventures like Puss in Book and Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile, both of which are aimed at a younger audience and allow kids to choose how they want the story to play out.

Telltale's interactive fare is well suited to Netflix's streaming service.

As for the yet-unannounced Telltale Stranger Things game, sources say the game should have been ready for launch in the autumn of 2017, but was pushed back to a later date. There's a broad spectrum of entertainment available today.

After having worked on titles based around series far and wide involving major franchises like The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and more, Telltale Games has given a new look into what lies ahead for the studio outside of its current projects, and it looks like things are about to get unusual.

"We can confirm Minecraft: Story Mode is a licensed 5-episode interactive narrative series coming to our service this fall", Netflix said in a statement. According to the report, Netflix will kick off its video game pilot program with Telltale's popular game series Minecraft: Story Mode, as well as a project based on Stranger Things.

DPRK, US leaders hold historic meeting in Singapore
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un looks at a night view of Singapore from the roof of the Marina Bay Sands hotel on Monday. For Moon and his supporters, the No. 1 goal for the summit is to reduce to threat of conflict on the Korean peninsula.

It seems as though this has always been in the works, considering that Netflix itself launched a free-to-playStranger Things: The Game to promote Season 2 in October a year ago.

Around the same time, Netflix also collaborated with Hasbro on no less than three board games, including Monopoly, a Ouija board, and Eleven's Eggo card game.

The Stranger Things project, however, is not coming to Netflix.

Stranger Things is one of Netflix's most successful original TV shows on its subscription service, with two seasons available to watch now and a third in production. However, plans do change, and if this goes over well there's always that sliver of a chance that Netflix may expand beyond traditional video streaming down the line.

As far as when the partnership will be announced, the article notes that it "could happen any day", though an E3 debut may not be happening since we're so late in the show anyway.
