By leveraging Google's machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities, Gmail can now identify the messages that are most important to you.

Designed for the iPhone and all iPad models, Gmail can be downloaded now on the App Store for free. This may happen over time, but the goal of course, is to send you push notifications for those emails it believes are important to you.

While Gmail does its best to cut down on the amount of spam emails that hit your account every day, it still feels it can do even more to cut down on those unimportant emails.

Google plans on getting other features from that applications as well. Google is trying to find a happy medium between letting all of the notifications through and silencing them entirely by rolling out high-priority notifications in Gmail for iOS.

Like we mentioned above, this not the only new feature which has shown up on Gmail since the past few weeks. It has already been there with the company's other email app called Inbox since a year ago and is also present in Gmail's web interface. The new Gmail offers the ability to snooze certain emails.
