XXXTentacion Dead: Rapper Killed In Drive By Shooting in South Florida

In audio of the dispatch call, police can be heard saying they think the attack might have been a drive-by shooting, and that the attackers allegedly fled in a black Dodge Journey, according to XXL Mag.

U.S. rapper XXXTentacion, who quickly rose to fame with two consecutive hit albums, has been killed aged 20.

The owner of RIVA Motorsports - where Jasheh Onfroy, better known as XXXTentacion, was shopping for a motorcycle Monday moments before he was shot - said the vigil will be held outside his business at 5 p.m.

"The adult male victim has been confirmed as 20 year old Jahseh Onfroy [sic], aka rapper #XXXTentacion", the sheriff's department said later in a Twitter posting. "So I just wanted to say I appreciate and love all of you, and I believe in you all".

TMZ reported that witnesses said the rapper had "no pulse" following the incident. He's facing more than a dozen felony charges. The Broward County Sheriff's Office confirmed his death to the media.

XXXTentacion, the rapper born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy. He was now awaiting a trial where he faced 15 charges for alleged domestic violence against his pregnant girlfriend and witness tampering. His 2018 follow-up? (Question Mark) debuted at No. 1 and spawned the hit single "SAD!", which reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The charges included false imprisonment and aggravated battery of a pregnant woman. The house arrest was lifted in March, according to Miami-Dade court documents.
