Embiid doesn't want to be compared to Deandre Ayton

DeAndre Ayton speaks with the media after being selected number one overall by the Phoenix Suns during the 2018 2018 NBA Draft on June 21, 2018 in Brooklyn, NY.

The Suns are hoping Ayton can help turn around a team that finished with just 21 wins against 61 defeats, the worst in the National Basketball Association.

"Whatever city I went to, I was going to be able to be comfortable in", said Young, who wore suit shorts with his burgundy-colored jacket.

The Philadelphia 76ers selected Bridges with the 10th overall pick before trading it to the Suns.

The Huerter pick followed the selections of OR shooting guard Troy Brown by the Washington Wizards at No. 15, Smith by Phoenix (and dealt to Philadelphia) at No. 16, Villanova shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo by the Milwaukee Bucks at No. 17, and Miami shooting guard Lonnie Walker IV by the San Antonio Spurs at 18th. But the Suns are tired of stockpiling assets. Armed with the first overall pick - along with the #16, #31 and #59 selections - no team was better positioned to bolster its core than Phoenix. He's a towering 7-feet-1-inch and 260 pounds, with a large wingspan, great quickness, explosiveness and athleticism. His only sleep lately, he said, was a couple of hours on the plane ride from NY on Tuesday. "Having all that confidence leading up to that point when I saw [NBA commissioner] Adam Silver come out, I was just waiting for my name". Though many analysts - including both yours truly and GiveMeSport's Mark Deeks - had Real Madrid star Luka Doncic atop their big boards, the Suns' interest in Ayton was one of the draft's worst-kept secrets. Ayton replied that he's no ordinary center. I can help bring the opportunity to them.

Ayton and Bridges say they got to know each other well at the college awards ceremony in Los Angeles but never figured they'd be on the same team.

"It felt like I knew him for years, and it's insane". He will fit well next to Devin Booker. A billboard of those three already has been erected downtown. By now, we are all aware of the ongoing narrative that Ayton is a poor defender, which in all honesty I feel is overstated. And then Collin, we got to get there with experience as well. We can run all day.

New evidence that viruses may play a role in Alzheimer's
They found that human herpesvirus 6A and 7 were up to twice as abundant in Alzheimer's disease samples than non-Alzheimer's ones. Further study into how these particular viruses interacted with human genes revealed they may disrupt a gene galled Mir155.

With the 31st pick in the draft, the first in the second round, Phoenix chose point guard Elie Okobo of France, a 20-year-old sharpshooter who scored 44 in a French playoff game.

"I embrace it a lot". To me that's the whole process.

"The best thing my dad, and then coach Dzikas and Shen did for me, is that they were hard on me". It's insane, I just didn't know.

Ayton is a generational talent.

The Suns still have Tyson Chandler, but the veteran big man is on the twilight of his career and is definitely not part of the team's long-term plans, so the addition of Ayton makes plenty of sense for Phoenix.

Now the Suns move on to the next phase. He said the team should have $15 million to $20 million to spend.

Sexton wasted little time going on the recruiting trail, sending a message to LeBron James to bypass free agency and return to the four-time defending Eastern Conference club.
