The Facebook-owned company has said it will be adding more songs to its library every day.

Instagram announced the new music feature in a press release by the company yesterday, June 28. Starting today, Instagram is adding an official feature for adding music to Stories.

So, how does it work?

Users can also queue up a song to play in the background as they record videos for their stories. Tapping on it opens a library which has thousands of soundtracks where you can either browse or search for your favourite song.

On iOS, users can also opt to choose a song before shooting a photo or video.

South Korea's 2018 FIFA World Cup campaign can be summarized with this: one stunning win and two painful losses. His absence was capitalised upon by South Korea , who sent the ball forward where Heung-min Son was waiting.

Once you select a song, you can preview it to make sure it's the ideal song for your 'gram's story. Once you have finalised the song, you can fast-forward and rewind through the track to choose the right part for your story. It's not clear who Instagram has partnered with on the feature.

If you want to add music to a video you're about to take, you can do that too! When opening the camera, swipe to the new "Music" option under the record button.

Instagram went on to explain what users will see when viewing stories: "When your friends are watching your story, they'll hear the song playing as they're viewing your photo or video". It might get added over the next couple of weeks.

The music sticker is available as part of Instagram version 51 on Android and iOS in select countries.
