Willian is on Barcelona's radar.

Chelsea will be offered a player as Barcelona are willing to complete a cash plus player deal for winger Willian.

It could yet be one in the latest of a string of transfers where Shaqiri - who is heavily linked with a move to Liverpool - goes to Anfield with the red herring of United's interest behind him to make it look like Klopp won "another" transfer battle.

Chelsea prefer to sell Willian to Barcelona rather than Manchester United unless we allow Anthony Martial to move in the other direction, according to the Telegraph.

Speaking after Brazil's quarter-final defeat to Belgium on Friday (July 6), the 29-year-old said, "I'm going to Barcelona to talk to my representative about this matter".

The Catalan club are also expected to fast-track the signing of Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo from Gremio in the next few days, with a transfer originally planned for January.

Willian now has two years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

These comments were made prior to Brazil's elimination from the World Cup, so the move may well accelerate from here.

They have identified Chelsea's Willian as that man but Manchester United want him too.
