WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar attended UFC 226 on Saturday night and appears destined for a return to the sport to face the new UFC heavyweight champion. But that said, do yourself a favor and bury your bookmaker this Saturday night and watch Cormier become a two-division UFC champ.

Our sister site Sherdog will be featuring the live results throughout the evening.

Only Conor McGregor has achieved the same feat, and Cormier's victory potentially marks the 39-year-old as the greatest UFC fighter of all time.

And there was a huge shock in the opening bout of the main card, as former K-1 kickboxing legend Gokhan Saki was stopped in just 96 seconds by Las Vegas light-heavyweight Khalil Rountree Jr.

"I don't know if he's the [greatest of all time]". White said that Cormier and Lesnar have known each other for a long time and there is "a thing between those two" because they've always bantered about who would win in the Octagon. Clearly, there's a case to be made that Cormier can score the upset and beat Miocic, especially because he was previously undefeated at heavyweight before moving down to 205 lbs.in 2014.

After beating Miocic, Cormier called former UFC heavyweight champion Lesnar into the cage.

North Korea says U.S. are like 'gangsters' after 'regrettable' nuclear talks
It contradicted statements made earlier by Pompeo, who signaled the visit made "progress on nearly all of the central issues". That made the North Korean description of those talks as "deeply regrettable " only hours later even more stinging.

The two squared off for a moment before Lesnar shoved Cormier in the chest and stated, "DC, I'm coming for you, m--f--".

After the bout, WWE superstar Brock Lesnar entered the Octagon and traded words with Cormier in a vulgar (and ridiculous) display. "Push me now, you go to sleep later". Hard-hitting heavyweights Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou will now assume the co-main event spot, with both men looking to angle themselves towards a shot at the title with a win.

"We're definitely going to make that fight", said UFC president Dana White, who didn't have a date or location for the fight yet.

He added: "Your days are in the past, 2010, it's like the stone age". Lesnar must be in the pool again for six months before he is allowed to compete again with UFC, so if he has indeed re-entered that testing pool again, his return to UFC is most certainly on. "They started the process last week. I don't know where they are in the process but he is going to pop up on the board here soon". Paul Heyman has also commented...

The show capped the UFC's annual International Fight Week in early July in its hometown.
