This move seems to be the most logical one available and while it seemed more or less a guarantee for everybody, it still got the NBA Twitter universe to go insane.

Since James joined the league in 2003, he's pocketed $765m - raking in more than $50m annually through endorsement deals with Nike, Coca-Cola, and Beats to name a few.

It just makes all the sense in the world when you think about it.

The Lakers' 35 victories last year were their best performance during five years without a postseason game for a team that had never missed the playoffs more than two seasons in a row. He won't be a primary playmaker like James, Rondo or Ball, but as a change-of-pace option off the bench he'll also be able to relieve LeBron for small stretches. In an interview with ESPN earlier this year LaVar Ball, the father of Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, said he did not believe the players enjoyed being coached by Walton.

The stadium that's become the graveyard of World Cup giants
The last time the two teams met was in 2002, when Brazil clinched a 2-0 victory en route to lifting their fifth World Cup title. After falling behind to Fernandinho's own goal 13 minutes in, A Seleção were caught cold by Belgium's precise planning.

That begs the question: What are Magic and LeBron thinking? Talking with the Spurs about a Kawhi Leonard trade will be Johnson's biggest and most hard task, but if he can get a deal done, LeBron will have his needed sidekick.

"I don't know what Kevin Durant's response was but I can tell that behind the scenes Kevin Durant was like 'Why would I do that?'" said Smith. While it's their prerogative to do whatever they want to do with their own LeBron uniforms, lighting those threads up should not come to a point where they endanger themselves. "When you've got a young team that's battling, fighting and playing well and gets some injuries and you get into the dog days of the National Basketball Association season". James played a major role in recruiting Bosh and Ray Allen.

Pairing up with either George or Leonard would have given LeBron a better platform to dethrone the Warriors than he had last season, when the Cavs desperately missed Irving's offense and LeBron was left to fight a war he had no chance of winning.

When it became clear that the four-time MVP was taking his talents to Tinseltown, Rondo couldn't pass up the opportunity to team up with him and compete for a championship again.
