Lesnar got his chance to cut a promo and he didn't hold back on the heavyweight division.

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier knocked out Miocic in the first round of Saturday's main event to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

Cormier, the light heavyweight champion, is moving up to challenge the heavyweight champ for the possibility of following in the footsteps of Conor McGregor as the only fighters to simultaneously hold UFC belts in two weight classes.

Cormier called out Lesnar following his big win, when Lesnar came in to crash the party.

Following his Heavyweight title win on Saturday, Cormier got on the microphone and said he wants to fight Lesnar - who sat in the crowd for the main event.

The much-anticipated main event of UFC 226 lived up to the hype for as long as it lasted. Lesnar entered the Octagon, shoved Cormier and quickly provided an answer.

"Push me now, you go to sleep later", Cormier said to Lesnar.

Chemical weapons expert Hamish de Bretton-Gordon said the latest victims are likely collateral debris from the Skripal attack. The couple became sick after "handling a contaminated item " and remain in a critical condition, according to Scotland Yard .

'I walked into this building and have watched the heavyweight disasters from the beginning, ' roared Lesnar after the incident.

Lesnar then proceeded to rip into the heavyweights on the UFC 226 fight card. If he didn't finish [Francis] Ngannou on the ground, he is not finishing me on the ground. Miocic is a piece of shit.

It just seems as though the UFC can't catch a break these days.

And the OH firefighter brushed off Cormier's suggestion that there was no way Miocic could win a decision.

The only times Cormier has even looked vulnerable were the two times he lost to Jones, though one was overturned to a no-contest because of a positive drug test. Someone asked me earlier 'What's your approach to fighting Stipe?' and it's going to be the exact same thing.

The development means White has made good on his word from April, when he said the former UFC champ Lesnar would return after previously teasing the odds were "very, very, very good."

In order to return to the UFC, Lesnar will have to re-enter USADA's testing pool and serve out the remainder of his suspension. Botter reports that Lesnar has been in the USADA testing pool and is now hidden from public viewing in the database. He hasn't been booked yet because Vince McMahon has not made a decision yet on what to do with the Universal Championship.
