George Clooney hospitalized following accident in Italy

An ambulance took Clooney to the nearest hospital, where an MRI scan revealed that the actor was not seriously injured, according to police and health officials.

George Clooney was taken to the hospital after crashing his motorcycle into a vehicle in Sardinia this week.

George Clooney "smashed in to a windscreen" when his scooter collided with a auto in Sardinia.

Clooney, 57, was leaving his hotel in Costa Corallina and headed to the set of "Catch-22", a television adaptation of the Joseph Heller novel, on Tuesday when his moped crashed into a station wagon, ABC News confirmed. He was reportedly heading to the set when he was struck by the vehicle.
