In a fit of Jenji Kohan-induced euphoria, Netflix picked up Orange Is the New Black season 6 AND season 7 previous year. The women of Litchfield Penitentiary are a long way from home in Orange is the New Black season 6, as they trade in their minimum-security home for a maximum security prison. Echoing season one, we'll get to see not only Piper (Taylor Schilling) navigating a new prison environment, but all the friends and foes she's made since she first arrived to Litchfield all those months ago. Luckily, last season they kinda set the whole place on fire. On top of new inmates to worry about, they are being interrogated about what happened during the riot and who was in charge, likely meaning someone is going to have a serious amount of years added to their sentence. The series has been renewed for a seventh - and possibly final - season. On the other hand, in order to pay that off in a believable manner means watching these characters get punished harder than we've ever seen before.

"You don't know how strong my girls are", Kate Mulgrew's Red utters in her thick Russian accent.

Check out the "Criminal"-scored trailer for season six below, which looks like it'll be part Homeland-like Federal Bureau of Investigation probe (with its very own wall of suspects), part grittier prison drama (more punches! more tears!), and, as always, part fun romp-filled, female-led comedy (stay put for the final aerobics visual gag that will have you, well, gagging)".

We're sure you'll be counting down the days, and luckily, you only have to wait until 27 July.
