Kensington Palace announces Prince Louis' godparents

While Princes William and Harry looked smart in coordinating navy blue suits.

Although Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were not in attendance, Prince Charles and Camilla were joined by Kate's parents Carole and Michael Middleton and the the rest of the Middleton clan, including their brother James, Pippa and her husband James.

Kate Middleton stunned, once again, at the christening of her third child, Louis, in London on July 9.

Louis will have six godparents, including close friends and family members of the royal couple.

Guests included newlyweds the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

A royal source said it had been agreed some time ago that the 92-year-old queen would not attend the small, family affair and her absence was not due to any health issues.

Prince Louis will be christened later in a private ceremony in the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace later today.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and wife Kate, are now celebrating the christening of their third child, Prince Louis!

Louis wore a handmade replica of the Royal Christening Robe, made by Angela Kelly, who is a dressmaker to the Queen.

Harry Aubrey-Fletcher: He went to Ludgrove School and Eton with William and his father is the Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire.

The Palace confirmed that the hymns were, "O Jesus, I Have Promised" and "Lord of All Hopefulness", with the lessons being from St. Mark 10: 13-16, read by Miss Lucy Middleton, and Ephesians 3: 14-19, read by Mr Guy Pelly.

Welby will use the Lily Font, commissioned by queen Victoria for the baptism of her first child in 1841.

George, four, and three-year-old Charlotte held William's hand, as a sleeping Louis was carried into the chapel by Kate.
