Elon Musk can 'stick his submarine where it hurts' says hero

When a Twitter user called Musk out for labeling a rescue diver a "pedo", the entrepreneur doubled down on his claim, saying, "Bet ya signed dollar it's true".

Musk was apparently infuriated by British diver Vern Unsworth, who stated very publicly that he believed Musk's involvement in the ordeal was simply a public relations stunt.

Unsworth had stated that he felt Musk's submersible had no chance of ever working for that specific rescue because it was too big and rigid for the caverns, and as can be seen at a column on the Inquisitr.

Musk then tweeted of Unsworth: "Never saw this British expat guy who lives in Thailand (sus) at any point when we were in the caves". Lashing out and calling a guy who was actually part of the rescue operation in a measurable way a pedophile is probably not a great move! Highlighting the dangers, a former Thai navy SEAL volunteering to work on the rescue effort died Friday while replenishing oxygen canisters that were placed along the escape route.

In an interview with Bloomberg just a week ago, Musk said he would try and temper his Twitter usage.

You're imagining Elon Musk.

"He was one of the driving forces in getting everything done and clarifying for us divers what was going on".

Tesla 'whistleblower' files tip with the SEC (TSLA)
In May 2016, Musk said he estimated the company would make 100,000 to 200,000 Model 3s during the second half of 2017. CNBC first reported Tesla's troubles with the Fremont, California, factory suffering several fires.

Depending on who you ask, Musk was either just a huge attention seeker or a billionaire rocket inventor just trying to do his bit. They were found 200m from that spot. Thai officials involved in the rescue agreed with him as reported by The Independent.

The boys and their coach entered the cave just seven days before it was due to be closed because of monsoon flooding.

Mr Unsworth was part of an global team of cave-diving experts who rescued the group of 12 teenage boys and their coach last week.

"Mini-sub is ready if needed".

"Although his technology is good and sophisticated it's not practical for this mission", Mr Narongsak said. He hit back at his critics this week, saying the dive team had instructed him to keep working on the submarine.

One journalist, a senior correspondent for Vanity Fair, tweeted that he cancelled his Tesla order over Musk's donation.

Stanton replied: "It is absolutely worth continuing with the development of this system in as timely a manner as feasible".
