Three months after Twitter sleuths got the best of quarterback Josh Allen ahead of the NFL Draft, they outed Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Josh Hader for racist and homophobic tweets.

During Tuesday night's exhibition, some racist and anti-gay tweets that Hader sent when he was a teenager surfaced.

"During last night's game we became aware of Mr. Hader's unacceptable social media comments in years past and have since been in communication with the Brewers regarding our shared concerns", the Major League Baseball said in a statement Wednesday.

He locked his account and after the game he said the posts were from seven years ago and stemmed from immaturity when he was 17. I obviously said some things that weren't excusable.

"I assume when you're a kid you just tweet what's on your mind", Hader said Tuesday night.

Update: Lorenzo Cain - also an All-Star and Hader's Milwaukee teammate - was asked about Hader's comments after the game.

"It's something they shouldn't be involved in", Hader said.

"Just came in, and my phone was blowing up", he said. In a statement, Brewers general manager David Stearns said the team would continue to work through the issue with Hader. "Live and learn. It won't happen again". Christian Yelich doesn't know much about the situation but says Josh Hader has a "really kind heart".

"At the end of the day, you have to give people a second chance", said Cain.

According to the Baltimore Sun, in one tweet, dated October 25, 2011, Hader tweeted lyrics from the Juicy J song, "Durr She Go", that used the N-word. You always get in trouble for things you said when you're younger.

"I'm sure there were some lyrics, rap lyrics, being tweeted", Hader told reporters. So I'm fine. Everybody will be OK. Basically, we're going to move on from this.
