The Crown release first-look image of Olivia Colman as the Queen

Fans of "The Crown" went insane this week after Netflix unveiled the very first pictures of Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret. Now Netflix has finally shared a photo of Colman on set as the monarch, drinking her tea.

The third season of The Crown is slated to release in 2019.

The sophomore season of the royal-family drama just received 13 Emmy nominations, including one for best drama. When she took over from Claire Foy, Olivia Colman said: "I'm so thrilled to be a part of the crown. The grown-ups put us [Olivia and Claire] in touch, so I could ask her about it and she was just lovely - she's one of the sweetest people ever and she's brilliant".

Joining Colman in the new seasons will be Tobias Menzies as her husband Pricne Philip and Erin Doherty (Call the Midwife) as Princess Anne.

Creator of the series, Peter Morgan, has previously talked about the need to re-cast the royal roles every two seasons, due to the increasing ages of the characters. Prince Charles' future wife Camilla Parker Bowles will make her first appearance in season 3, and Princess Diana is also expected to appear towards the end of the season.
