A star-filled cast is being lined up for 'Cats' movie

Cats is based on T S Eliot's poetry which featured in The Old Possum's Book Of Practical Cats.

Swift, a 10-time Grammy victor whose "Reputation" album was the biggest seller of 2017 in the United States, made her film acting debut in the 2010 romantic comedy "Valentine's Day".

Hooper has been preparing the Cats movie musical for the past few years.

As revealed by ScreenDaily, the film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical will include the likes of Taylor Swift and Jennifer Hudson, joined by James Corden and Sir Ian McKellen.

Tom Hooper will direct this eclectic cast in the wildly popular Broadway musical about a "tribe of cats called the Jellicles and the night they make what is known as "the Jellicle choice" and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life".
