Xiaomi Mi A2 launched in India: Price, specifications, features and more

Customers buying the device will get a cashback worth Rs 2,200 cashback and 4.5 TB of free data from Reliance Jio.

The Mi A2 is priced at Rs. 16,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB variant. Also, the device packs an Adreno 520 GPU. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is expected to come to India at a later date. The motorized camera module hides a 16MP + 20MP dual rear camera and a 25MP front camera.

You can pre-order the phone starting tomorrow from 12 p.m. onwards on Amazon.in and Mi.com. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and USB Type-C. Asus seems poised to take on OnePlus and we therefore expect them to undercut OnePlus prices by a significant margin, making it one of the cheapest Snapdragon 845 phones around. It has a 6.59-inch amoled display giving it a screen to body ratio of 91%.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 runs stock Android which entitles it to receive Android Pie when it starts rolling out for devices other than Google Pixel. But with a better processor, Quick Charge 4.0 and other appealing specifications and features, the Xiaomi Mi A2 holds its own against the likes of Vivo V9 and the Samsung Galaxy J8.

Similar to its predecessor - the Mi A1, this one also comes with Android One instead of the MIUI custom ROM.

Xiaomi Mi A2 is powered by a 3000mAh battery with support for fast charging technology.
