The five-time world champions then face the Salvadorans four days later in Washington, D.C.

Tite has named a 24-man group for the upcoming friendlies against United States and El Salvador in the USA next month, and he has omitted eight of his World Cup squad.

Brazil will play friendlies against United States of America and El Salvador. Pereira played for the Belgium under-15s, U16s and U17s before opting to represent Brazil at the U-20 World Cup in 2015. Brazil lost 1-0 to the South Americans and beat the Asians, who had made the World Cup semi-finals, 3-2.

They include Manchester United's Andreas Pereira, Barcelona's Artur and Porto's Felipe based in Europe, and Flamengo's Lucas Paqueta, Fluminense 's Pedro and Gremio's Everton from the Brazilian championship that is in the middle of its season.

Artur, who was called up but not used before the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russian Federation, is also included after a promising start to the season with FC Barcelona.

Lucas Paqueta, Flamengo's highly rated young attacking midfielder gets his first call up, as does Pedro, the 21-year-old Fluminense striker, Gremio's 22-year-old left winger Everton, and Porto centre-back Felipe.

"This is Pedro's time, as he is playing well", Tite said. We had a great year in Valencia.

Alisson looks to have retained his place as Brazil's number one, for these matches at least, with Manchester City's Ederson not in the squad.

"They've been really good for me, I think I've totally changed as a player and a human being after these two years".
