The company is yet to announce further details about the Nokia 5.1 Plus, but it's more or less similar to the Nokia 6.1 Plus.

The Nokia 6.1 has a 4GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The smartphones were first launched in the Chinese market. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, powered with the 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Octa Core Processor for smooth functionality and a power-packed system.

In short, the Nokia 6.1 Plus is HMD's most ambitious effort yet in the budget category. The display of the phone is full HD+ display and it is protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus popped up last month, but we finally get to see the phone outside China. There's an aluminum frame sandwiching the glass front and back, and although the Nokia 6.1 Plus isn't as durable as the standard model, it can still weather a few tumbles.

Nokia 6.1 Plus comes after the company announced price cut on the older Nokia 6.1.

We are thrilled to bring you the Nokia smartphones event for one of the most awaited phones on Tuesday 21st August.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 400GB). If the price of the Nokia 5.1 Plus is set as Rs 12,999, then it will be a stellar offering from HMD Global.

RAM & Storage: The phone comes with a 4GB RAM which is exactly the same which was in the Nokia 6.1.

The phone isn't almost as proficient when it comes to low-light scenarios, with the sensors struggling to capture detail. The dual camera setup is an interesting one - the main shooter is 16 MP with f/2.0 aperture, while the secondary is 5 MP, but unlike other midrangers, this is a monochrome sensor. Whereas, front-facing camera on this device could incorporate a 21MP sensor. The phone was launched in China as the Nokia 6 (2018) in China in January this year and made its global debut as the Nokia 6.1 Plus at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018.
