It speaks of the current nutritional trend of incorporating coconut oil in diet that is purported to reduce weight and also improve brain function.

Coconut oil has taken the health world by storm for the last few years with fitness and nutrition fans hailing it a healthy fat.

According to Michels, coconut oil is more risky than lard because it nearly exclusively contains saturated fatty acids, the kind that can clog the coronary arteries.
