The Razer Gaming Phone is getting a sequel

To recall, Razer has a few nifty PC services like the Razer Game Store, and its zGold wallet and rewards platform, and both of these services (and more) could make their way to the mobile device when it launches.

The confirmation came in Razer's latest earnings report, and the company said that it is focusing its resources on the development of the new mobile device.

As reported by SlashGear, the report states that Razer's "next-generation products" experienced a growth spurt of 432.3% year on year.

After Razer acquired Nextbit in early 2017, we knew that a Razer Phone was inevitable.

Razer launched its first smartphone past year, all complete with tons of bezels and a 4000mAh battery.

Hong Kong-based, Razer, is already developing its second generation gaming phone, despite retailers such as JB Hi-Fi discounting the original model, almost two months after launch. "The Group is very pleased with the success of its first-generation Razer Phone, which was released in a limited run and has garnered very positive reviews internationally". Along with that, the company also states that this time around, it plans on bringing some of its software services from PC over to the mobile market.

Razer announced its first Android phone just around a year ago. Apart from the featuring best-ever smartphone speakers and 120Hz display, the Razer Phone also created a new "gaming smartphone" niche.

The Razer Phone is a gaming focused phone with a 120Hz screen allowing for faster response - an essential spec when talking about gaming.
