Apple iPhone XS Event

It's been reported Apple will also change its naming convention for the new model and dub it the iPhone Xs Max, dropping the "Plus" suffix that's traditionally been given to larger iPhone models. This device is likely to be called the iPhone Xs, which would follow Apple's naming approach for new iPhones that look like the previous models but add new bells and whistles.

The lowest-price iPhone is probably going to start at around $700, and the other models will come close to a $1,000 base price.

With a 5.8-inch screen, it will be an advanced version of the iPhone X, which was launched in September, 2017.

A low-priced version of the iPhone X, with a 6.1-inch screen, it is expected to attract mass attention. It's not a bad bet to buy a slightly older-model iPhone, since Apple generally lowers the price of existing models when it rolls out new ones.

Although Apple has not yet confirmed any of its new products it seems there could be plenty to be excited about. What are your thoughts on one of the final leaks of the iPhone Xs?

Samsung and Huawei - who along with Apple make up the top three phone makers by market share - have already launched critically acclaimed flagship smartphones this year, placing more pressure on Apple to deliver with its latest iPhone. The cheaper phone also is expected to lose the home button. This will be the very first time Apple will be using 512GB of storage capacity in its iPhone. Stay tuned for more information today as the new products are announced. We might also finally get a release date for the long-delayed AirPower wireless multi-device charger.

The AirPower charger was announced a year ago with the promise of being able to wirelessly charge an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPod wireless headphones all at once.
