Credit: Jonathan Weiss/ShutterstockVerizon today (Sept. 11) said it will launch Verizon 5G Home on October 1.

The labs will launch by the end of 2018, and will be kitted out with live 5G networks to help startups, universities, and tech companies to collaborate with Verizon.

Verizon says that 5G home broadband customers can expect typical speeds of around 300Mbps. Additionally, Verizon will not be putting any data cap on the plan. Given that the Chromecast Ultra retails for $69, while the 32GB Apple TV 4K retails for $179, we'd probably go with the latter (you could always sell it after the fact).

Verizon is offering some additional perks to initial 5G Home customers if that $50 to $70 monthly price tag is giving you pause. Signing up for service includes "free white glove installation and equipment", as well as free router and router upgrades as they become available in 2019.

Mayor Darrell Steinberg said in a press release 5G service will "expand digital access for underserved communities and boost the city's efforts to establish itself as a center for autonomous vehicle testing".

Trump's latest boast about the economy isn't accurate
But another reason for the revitalization of business spending has been a turnaround in oil prices. Eventually, though, the chirps, lies and tweets became too much for Barack to let slide.

You then are in that position to verify it with others and get a level of truth that's not available on the record, unfortunately. Woodward's latest work, Fear: Trump in the White House , paints a portrait of Trump as uninformed and mercurial.

5G is considered the next evolution in mobile technology that will create wireless networks faster and more powerful than the current 4G or LTE networks.

The new 5G service will be available to customers living in four major United States cities: Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles and Sacramento.

"We spent the last three years driving the industry to bring 5G to consumers as soon as possible", said Ronan Dunne, head of Verizon's wireless business.
