The Seattle Storm hold a commanding 2-0 lead in the five-game series, so it's do or die for the Washington Mystics in game three of the WNBA Finals Wednesday night.

The Storm became the sixth team to sweep a Finals in three games - something the team did in 2010. Our team went through a rebuild and yes, I chose to stay.

"It didn't feel like my first WNBA finals closeout game", the poised Stewart said.

The Mystics, on the other hand, didn't have a single player score in double figures, and only had two points off the bench.

Stewart was a unanimous choice to the all-WNBA first team, the league announced Wednesday, while fellow UConn graduate Taurasi of the Phoenix Mercury extended her own record with a 10th first-team selection. They combined for 59 points and 22 rebounds, helping the Storm establish a big lead and coast to a 98-82 win. The great thing is we can still improve.

"We understand that the difference here is we have a chance to win a championship and not just advance to the next round", Bird said.

A young Seattle team that lost in the first round the past two years and won just 15 games last season, obliterated the Mystics. Seahawks players, staff, and Legends were paying close attention to the local team's performance, and several of them reacted to the Storm's most recent title on Twitter.

"Obviously, this finals didn't go the way we wanted it".

Trump signs order permitting sanctions for foreign election meddling
The Treasury and State departments also would be advised of the election attack and would be able to impose additional sanctions. Those backing the legislation say that under the bill, a nation would know exactly what it would face if caught.

"And I didn't know if I would be back to the Finals ever again".

"They definitely supported us during the season.to see the turnout at the playoffs, it was huge for us", Bird said.

Washington shot 43.5 percent from the field (30 of 69) but was 8 of 23 from beyond the 3-point arc. Starting with a Stewart 3-point play, Seattle countered with eight consecutive points and pulled away.

Bird understands her career is nearing the end, even though she remains among the league's best.

Despite the misfires, Washington rallied from down 18 points to trailing 72-67 with 6:49 remaining.

"Honestly, I don't know", she said inside Sea-Tac Airport Thursday morning.

The Storm got their first taste of life without Bird in the semifinals when she broke her nose and had to sit out the remainder of Game 4 against Phoenix. "It really gave us that home court advantage". One of the league's most decorated players also grasps the impact of her latest triumph.

"This is probably going to be one of the defining moments of my career to have played however many years I've been playing, to have won in all these places, but then to do it at the end in such a way that was different from all the others, it's really incredible".
