Kante, 27, was an important member of France's World Cup-winning squad in Russian Federation, but despite heavy links with a return to his home country after former coach Antonio Conte was replaced by Maurizio Sarri, the former Leicester City man is happy to still be in London this season.

Chelsea icon Terry captained the club to five Premier League titles, as well as four FA Cups and three EFL Cups, along with a Champions League and Europa League title.

Terry has rejected a surprise move to Spartak Moscow for family reasons after leaving Aston Villa following a single season with the Championship club.

The former England worldwide was reportedly set to join Russian outfit Spartak Moscow, but that move broke down.

Sarri believes Terry, 37, still wants to play for another season, but insists he will always be welcome at his "home" back at Chelsea.

Paul Manafort Has Reportedly Agreed ‘Tentatively’ to Deal with Mueller’s Office
Manafort was convicted last month at trial in Alexandria, Virginia, of charges including bank and tax fraud. Manafort lawyer Kevin Downing and Mueller spokesman Peter Carr declined to comment on the ABC report.

"I remember in my first season in Naples, the average points per match during the season was 2.28, I think", he said. "He told me a lot of things, that he wants to play, so I'd have to speak to him again". I am very open with him because he is the history of the club.

"It's up to him", Sarri told a news conference ahead of Saturday's home game against Cardiff City.

Cardiff City's Josh Murphy (hamstring) and Aron Gunnarsson (knee) are back in the squad for the trip to Stamford Bridge. Cesc Fabregas is returning to full fitness but won't be ready to play this weekend. Cardiff went into the global break with a 3-2 loss to Arsenal, a game that earned the Gunners their second win of the season.

"Mentally the match after the (international) break it is very hard; materially because we will play against a very physical team", he said. But if he wants to help us I am very, very happy.

Cardiff have picked up just two points from their opening four Premier League games and are one of five teams still without a win.
