Jurgen Klopp has challenged his Liverpool FC team to maintain their performance level for the visit of Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.

The Brazilian suffered an eye injury in the win over Tottenham on Saturday but a hospital examination confirmed there was no lasting damage.

"He will be ready", Klopp said of Sturridge, who has made four substitute appearances this season.

Speaking to Italian news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Mbappe said: "Playing at Anfield against a big European club on Tuesday is the ideal way to debut this new kit".

He is much better.

"It is a hard group, but it is the very nature of the Champions League to have that".

Oil prices steady after pull-back, up on the week
The 15-member OPEC (The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) cartel pumped 32.98 million barrels per day last month. Iran , which is facing sanctions by the United States , saw its August production falling by 120,000 barrels per day.

The manager was honest when he said that there is "no chance" Firmino could play if the game was today. "They got little injuries in the under-23 game with Swansea". It is painful and no-one needs that but he will be fine - we don't know exactly when. "We will see the full package Neymar".

Mbappe, 19, was shown the first red card of his career at the end of 4-2 win away at Nimes on September 1 after shoving Savanier to the ground following a late tackle, and although he apologised to PSG's travelling fans, he insisted he would do it again. He will be given every opportunity to prove his fitness, particularly with Dominic Solanke and Divock Origi struggling with fitness issues of their own.

"Unfortunately yes, we have new injury concerns". "But we hope he has a chance for tomorrow".

"It's not too serious". He tried this morning and didn't really work out too well, so he will try again tomorrow morning. "Another 30 hours until the game so we will see how it develops".

So, with Firmino having started every game this season then Klopp could be forced to shuffle his attacking pack and with Dominic Solanke and Divock Origi out injured then that only really leaves Daniel Sturridge as Firmino's replacement in the Liverpool squad, and his lack of match sharpness may mean Klopp tinkers with his formation rather than opting to play the England worldwide alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the heralded attacking triumvirate.
