Louis says that six people will be chosen to spend 30 hours in a coffin from 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 13 until 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 14.

They will be allowed one six-minute bathroom break per hour, and meals, snacks, and drinks will be provided.

Six Flags described them as "deluxe, 2'x7', slightly used coffins".

Anyone who creeps out of the coffin outside of those breaks will be eliminated from the contest.

Entrants can bring a friend to Fright Fest, but once the event ends, the friends hit the road and the sleeping dead must fend for themselves.

To apply for the chance to stay in the coffin you need to be over 18 and not have "any medical condition (s) that would make residing in a coffin for 30 hours a risk to your health or wellbeing".

Their coffin! That's right - the handcrafted coffin is yours to keep! The prizes include two 2019 Gold Season Passes, a Fright Fest prize package, two VIP Haunted House passes and a ticket for two to ride the Freak Train for Freak Unleashed.

The challenge will take place during Fright Fest, Six Flags's Halloween celebration, so participants will have to put up with random visits from the "Fright Fest Freaks" roaming the park.
