The 14-times major champion ended a five-year drought with an emotional victory at East Lake in Atlanta. Today, we've gotten a big reminder. In fact, the Tiger footage actually comes from a cool video the PGA Tour made past year of Woods watching his fellow PGA Tour pros show appreciation for his incredible career victory total.

"He's played really well all year, he was knocking on the door at two majors and had a number of opportunities to win this year, so it's obviously a nice buzz for our team", said a delighted United States captain Furyk.

Herman, 33, and Woods have been dating for more than a year.

"For the game of golf, Tiger Woods winning golf tournaments is something that's brilliant and I think we all benefit from it".

Compatriot Justin Thomas, who will play alongside Woods for Team USA at this week's Ryder Cup, shared a snap of the buzz on the final green and said "golf couldn't be in a better place".

"So for everyone in golf it's brilliant".

SiriusXM to Acquire Pandora in $3.5 Billion Deal

Luka Modric wins Federation Internationale de Football Association award for best men's player
Despite scoring in each of his two appearances in Russia, The Pharaohs bowed out at the group stage with three defeats. A new award, not the same as the Ballon d'Or, will be awarded to the "best" player of the 2017/18 season.

Sky Backs Comcast Deal, CEO Darroch Says ‘Momentum Will Only Increase’
But Comcast's chief executive Briant Roberts quickly hailed the outcome as "a great day" for his company. Fox countered by raising its offer to £27.6billion, but was later overpowered by a higher Comcast offer.

"I sincerely hope that I'm wrong - one of the first things I did yesterday was congratulate him".

Furyk played down the notion that his country's dismal recent record in Europe could be a psychological factor in this 42nd Ryder Cup. I said, yeah, I just didn't have the tight trousers and the hair.

"There are some veteran players who have never won on foreign soil. They are well aware of how hard it is to win in Europe".

The spiraling interest in the Ryder Cup means the biennial golf showpiece hardly needs hyping up but the stunning return to form of Tiger Woods, culminating in his first tournament victory for five years on Sunday, has undoubtedly added some extra French frisson to the event starting in Paris on Thursday.

Six of the European team also played in Atlanta, but captain Bjorn is not anxious about fatigue.
