"We consciously made a decision to not include a camera on Google Home Hub so you feel comfortable placing it in the private spaces of your home, like the bedroom", says Google Home Product Management VP Diya Jolly.

The Pixel Slate is one handsome tablet. Pre-orders are already available for release on November 1, and Telstra is the first out of the gate when it comes to its plans. It's surprisingly thin, just 7 mm, but that makes it feel extra dense. There's also a USB Type-C port on one of its sides.

That's a lot of pixels!

The Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels. In person, the panel looked sharp and vibrant. In terms of specifications, Google Pixel 2 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM and 12.3-megapixel camera. And it is pushing its cable-cutting YouTubeTV service, which costs $40 a month but which you now get for free for six months when you buy a Hub (a value that is more than the actual cost of the device). The base storage for each is also 64GB, with upgrades to 128GB available on both.

You don't need to worry too much about it becoming obsolete in a year either as Google says that software updates will make sure new features are brought to the device as they are created. At the top of both screens reside dual front-facing cameras, redesigned to help take super-wide selfies that are just as clear and crisp as any photo taken on the Pixel 3. The camera also has a larger sensor for better low-light pics. It's the first time Google has embraced the format, which Apple adopted a year ago with its ballyhooed iPhone X.

According to MySmartprice.com the new Google Pixel Slate, which is reportedly codenamed "Nocturne", will rival Microsoft's Surface Pro lineup of convertible laptops and runs Google's Chrome OS.

Hardware is a small part of Google's business, but Android and Google Assistant are crucial to the future of Alphabet, Google's parent company.

That means that your most used apps will be a tap away. Last October, Google had unveiled the Pixel 2, the Pixel 2 XL, the Google Home Mini and the Google Clips AI camera.

Neymar has described Kylian Mbappe as a "phenomenon" after the Paris Saint-Germain teenager scored four goals in 13 minutes. Mbappe's fellow teammate, Neymar , put The Parisians in front in the 9 minute after converting a penalty kick.

Here’s what it would take to stop climate change sooner
The report explicitly acknowledges the human impact on climate, but instead uses the data to justify continued non-action. Overall, the authors say that current greenhouse gas emissions must be reduced by 45 percent from 2010 levels by 2030.

However, both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL do not come cheap. It connects magnetically, features a kickstand, and there's no charging required. The full-size backlit keyboard borrows from PixelBook keyboard, down to the comfortable quiet keys. The keyboard also has a full-size trackpad that offers traditional functionality. In response, Google doubled warranties to two years. The integrated magnets let me slid the flap up and down the Slate's rear for easy stand adjustment.

You'll also have less work to do. If the Pixel 3 thinks it got a better shot than you, it'll pop up as a suggestion.

This is indeed a very important day for Google. To that end, Google has built a few security measures into the Pixel Slate.

Indeed it's the AI in the Assistant that Google is hoping will differentiate the Home Hub.

Google announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL today, and while they definitely seem to move the phone line forward, they don't seem to do that all that much. In some other European countries, it is a bit more expensive.

Pixel Slate starts at $599, with the keyboard being sold separately for $199.

For people accustomed to using PCs for tasks like web browsing the Chrome OS makes it possible to do things like switching through multiple tabs within a browser and having several windows overlap each other. Typically, I don't buy into the idea that a tablet can truly replace a laptop.
