After multiple delays and months of wait, the new Xbox Avatars are finally coming to all Xbox One users.

Microsoft has begun rolling out a key update for the Xbox One, and it's going to be good news for those that own one of its consoles - especially if you were looking to update your Avatar.

The hotly-anticipated new Xbox Avatars are coming to the system with a wide range of different body types, clothing, and accessibility options that will allow players to customize their Avatars to their liking. Microsoft is launching a new Xbox Skill for Alexa and Cortana that will allow users to control their console through an Alexa or Cortana-powered device.

Commands include power on/off, adjust volume, launch games and apps, start and stop broadcasts on Mixer, capture screenshots, and more.

The update also adds support for Dolby Vision HDR streaming for both the Xbox One X and Xbox One S. You can now chose to keep your old avatar, but it's unclear if this will be the case forever. And if you don't like the new Xbox Avatar, Microsoft will let you get back your original Xbox Avatar by simply switching to the Xbox Original Avatar through the Xbox Avatar Editor.
