Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that they were expecting their first child together!

Kensington Palace says the duchess is pregnant with the couple's first child and is due to give birth in the spring.

However as the second son of the current Prince of Wales, Harry's children are not automatically given the title of prince or princess.

Meghan and Harry are now in Australia on an official 16-day tour and will be travelling to Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.

On Friday, Meghan was spotted wearing a loose-fitting, long coat at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding, which only ramped up rumours that a new royal baby was on the way.

Betfair's latest odds suggest the the royal couple will name their baby Diana, after Harry's late mother, or Arthur if it's a boy.

The news about Meghan's pregnancy was announced by the Kensington Palace on their Twitter handle. Meghan wore a black coat, black sweater, black pants, and heels upon her arrival.

However, it could become a prince or a princess if the Queen made a decision to step in and give it the title.
