Meghan Markle is opening up about her first pregnancy, revealing that she's staying active throughout the pregnancy while she and Prince Harry travel the world together.

As wife Meghan stood by Prince Harry enthusiastically tried his hand at driving remote control cars on grassy terrain with three young boys on Saturday, including 13-year-old Danyon Jones from Ballina.

Despite morning fog, the pair met local surfers enjoying winter swells and sat down on the sand for a long chat with leaders of the OneWave group, which focuses on helping people improve mental health by getting outdoors. By the time the royal couple head back to the United Kingdom from New Zealand on 31 October, they will have completed 76 engagements, Metro reports.

A chuckling prince enthusiastically pursued the boys' cars with his own calling out "alright I'm coming, I'll catch you", while sporting a giant grin.

"Meghan told me that pregnancy was like having jet lag", McConnell, who is 23 weeks pregnant, told the Evening Standard.

The youngster, who had been watching from her grandmother's balcony, held out a hairband to the couple and Harry did a quick U-turn from entering the auto to say hello.
