Mourinho plays down touchline melee after 'awful' Chelsea draw

Ianni's official title is that of second assistant to Chelsea coach Maurizio Sarri, but he will now be remembered as the guy who poked a stick at Mourinho and led the Portuguese to chase him down the tunnel at the end of this game. Mistakes from centre backs have cost Manchester United numerous times already, most notably in defeats to Brighton, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

"I did not get respect back from Chelsea (fans) but that is not my responsibility".

United seemed set to record a second straight win when they recovered from an early goal to go 2-1 up at Stamford Bridge, only for Ross Barkley to slot past David de Gea in the final minute of stoppage time to seal a point for the Blues.

Manchester United's chief coach Jose Mourinho narrowly avoided a brawl with one of Chelsea's assistants, who was celebrating the Londoners' goal way too enthusiastically during a Premier League match.

"For me, Jose Mourinho's reaction was something I would expect and also something I would expect from the Chelsea bench".

Although this was the 22 year-olds third goal in two games, having also scored an equaliser against Newcastle the game prior to the 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, things haven't all gone the forwards way.

"I am not annoyed with anything". It was Sarri who took the sting out of the situation by seeking out Mourinho and attempting to find out what had happened.

Study finds collision claims rise in states with legal marijuana

China responds to sharp fluctuations in stock market
Shanghai stocks, meanwhile, have dropped over 20 percent since March and are hovering at their lowest level in almost four years. The Trump administration plans to raise its tariffs on $200 billion of Chinese goods from 10% to 25% at the end of the year.

Liverpool and Manchester City have tons of threats all over their pitch and the same criticism of Sarri's Napoli about a lack of killer instinct will likely undo them in the Premier League this season. I immediately said if you really feel that way, and you want to apologise, of course I accept apologies, and to forget it because I made lots of mistakes in my career. Then the young fellow came and apologised and I told him I accepted.

While the Italian was accepting of the result, he was left to rue Chelsea's tactical lapse which played into United's hands in the second half. That's particularly true in the context of Paul Pogba's situation at United.

Mourinho conceded that he was upset at the way in which Ianni celebrated in front of him.

And there was enough in this game to anger and delight him - a awful opening goal, when Pogba lost his man, a stirring fightback, a performance which highlighted Martial's brilliant potential and then the gut-wrenching Barkley equaliser, just as the points seemed to be in the bag. They didn't see it coming.

Then again, just imagine how Mourinho would have reacted had United claimed victory.

He said: "At this type of football, United is better than us". That will have to wait for now, though.
