The fanbase is set to grow as new Guardians will be able to enter the world of Destiny 2 for free in November. The news was announced on Friday at BlizzCon during the opening ceremony. The giveaway is to mark the game's one year anniversary on PC, with the game being free indefinitely for anyone who downloads the title in this window. Existing players will get an "exclusive in-game emblem".

Clearly, the idea is that you'll become invested enough in the base game to want to pay for the DLC.

The PC version of Destiny 2, which is available on Blizzard's Battle.net service, will be available as a Gift from November 2 through November 18. For a limited time, Bungie and Activision are giving away Destiny 2 for free on PC.

The sisters were found tied together at the waist and ankles with duct tape, but not bound, so much as "keeping them together". Department of Homeland Security officials declined to comment and referred questions to the NYPD as the lead on the case.

Players will have the opportunity to download the game once they've claimed it, however, it should be noted that new Battle.net accounts created after 19:00 BST on November 2, 2018, will be required to enable Blizzard SMS Protect before claiming their game license.

To claim Destiny 2, fire up the Battle.net app and click on the gift icon in the upper-right, as indicated above. Additionally, the Forsaken multiplayer mode Gambit will be free on PS4, Xbox One, and PC from November 9th to the 11th. The caveat is that you need a Battle.net account, of course, and the offer is good for anyone who does not already own the game.
