The Hollywood Reporter claims the the show's writer is "working on a two-hour movie" based on the same high school teacher-turned-meth baron concept that made Breaking Bad an global phenomenon.

Variety reports the two-hour film, now called Greenbriar, will begin filming this month.

Gilligan is definitely loving teasing the fans though, as film details are pretty sparse. We also don't know if the movie will be a follow-up to the acclaimed AMC series, which ended in 2013, or if it's another prequel, like the show's beloved spin-off Better Call Saul, which recently wrapped up its fourth season on AMC.

Insiders told THR that Gilligan will have full oversight of the projects, as he'd be the screenwriter, executive producer and could be the director, as well.

They say all good things must come to an end.

In the same 2014 race, import Araldo had to be euthanised because of an injury suffered when he was returning to scale. If he forced Cliffsofmoher to continue, it is likely the young horse would have fallen on the track.

After much speculation, the "Breaking Bad" movie will begin filming soon in Albuquerque.

He turns to a life of crime, producing and selling methamphetamine with a former student, Jesse Pinkman, played by Aaron Paul, with the aim of securing his family's financial future before he dies.

A project by the name of Greenbriar - possibly a code name - is set to star production in mid-November in Albuquerque, according to the New Mexico Film Office. Gilligan created and has also directed episodes of Better Call Saul. The plot involves "the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom" (Jesse Pinkman, anyone?) and will reportedly start production in New Mexico next month!

"It wouldn't feel as satisfying if it was just a cameo or an Alfred Hitchcock walkthrough". So it might not be too long until we get to see it. We don't know if anyone from the original show will be back to reprise their roles.
