Tamera Mowry thinks niece is among victims of Thousand Oaks mass shooting

Tamera Mowry-Housley is frantically searching for her niece, Alaina Housley and fears she may have been injured in the devastating mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, California Wednesday night.

'Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her and we are devastated that her life was cut short in this manner.

"A handful of girls went to line dance tonight and they're not all accounted for", she wrote.

Following Mowry-Housley and her husband's statement on their niece, 4 of the 12 victims identities have been confirmed. I know you always hear those things... The suspect, since identified as Ian David Long, was found dead at the scene.

Ventura County Sheriff's Sergeant Ron Heuls was one of the first responders and was met by gunfire.

The bar where the shooting took place is popular amongst college students from the nearby Pepperdine University and California Lutheran University.

In a heart-rending exchange Ashley said she has already been in contact with Elena's uncle, former Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, but that there is no news yet about her whereabouts.

Tamera's twin sister, Tia Mowry-Hardict, shared her shock and horror about the news on social media as well.

Adam Housely searched for his niece Thursday morning at the Los Robles Regional Medical Center, where some shooting victims were being treated, according to Los Angeles Times reporter Andrea Castillo.
