"China will use its space station in the same manner as the partners of the ISS are now using them, research, development of technologies and preparation of crews of chinese to long-duration flights", says Chen Lan, an analyst for a specialist internet site in the space program chinese.

At Airshow China, the China National Space Administration unveiled a replica of Tiangong's core module, which measures 55 feet long.

The release of the footage celebrates the 18th anniversary of humans living continuously aboard the station, and the 20th anniversary of the launch of the first two space station elements in 1998.

China's "Heavenly Palace" Space Station, which boasts a 17-meter-wide core module, besides the other compartments of the station, wants to replace the International Space Station when it is gone.

Three astronauts will be permanently stationed in the 60-tonne orbiting lab, which will enable the crew to conduct biological and microgravity research.

China expects to finish construction of the station in 2022, and will maintain Tiangong for at least a decade.

"This new footage showcases the story of human spaceflight in more vivid detail than ever before", said Dylan Mathis, communications manager for the International Space Station Program at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston said in a statement.

The country announced in May that the lab would be open to "all countries" to conduct science experiments.

Ozone layer hole will 'totally heal within 50 years'
The Antarctic ozone hole will take the longest to close, returning to its 1980 level in the 2060s. It's unclear, however, how much more warming can be expected once the Antarctic ozone hole heals.

Institutes, universities, and public and private companies were invited to submit projects.

It has received 40 plans from 27 countries and regions, according to state media.

"I'm sure over time China will be successful developing partnerships", said Bill Ostrove, space analyst with US-based Forecast International consultancy.

"The space agency, china and the United Nations could quite imagine". The moon will also travel to the Japanese space ship.

The computer glitch was the latest in a string of technical failures involving Russian space hardware.

"Despite a lot of talk of the opposite, the United States remains the most dominant power in space right now".

Roscosmos said the two other computer systems are sufficient for safe operation of the station indefinitely, but it wants the third one back online "to ensure the reliability" of next week's scheduled docking with an uncrewed Russian Progress cargo spacecraft.
