Following this last leak, reliable industry analyst Daniel Ahmad weighed in on ResetEra to affirm that the game is likely coming out next month.

Searches for the game's unique PS4 ID code do not bring up any other information at official PlayStation sites, particularly about release dates or prices. Players can download and play the game from Microsoft Store until November 11, post which PUBG will once again retail at $30.

During this year, users have faced performance issues that have plagued the game on the base Xbox One, and PUBG is now sitting at three out of fives stars for reviews in the Microsoft Store.

The Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds can be downloaded free for a limited time. While this is not new news for us, it seems like Microsoft will no longer renew the contract with Bluehole and PUBG after a year of being an exclusive game.

Whilst neither Sony nor Bluehole has confirmed the veracity of this, United Kingdom based games media outlet Eurogamer claim they "understand this to be true".

While there is no announcement as to why this is happening, Xbox owners who navigate to the Xbox One store can quickly pick up the games for no cost at all!

"PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" is now available on PC and Xbox One for $29.99. Whether a new console's version has a shot this much later-with both Fortnite and racking up their own battle royale audiences-is another question entirely. The offer is only applicable for a limited period of time, so if you want to try out the game with your buddies, now's a flawless time.

It's not surprising that we may get a new map.
