Xiaomi Mi AirDots Youth Edition Earbuds launched

The price of the Xiaomi AirDots Youth Edition is 199 yuan, around 28 United States dollars in exchange, and will be offered for sale on the Chinese market on 11 November this year, but it will not be long before it reaches the rest of the countries.

The Xiaomi Mi AirDots Youth Edition is available for pre-order at CNY 199 in China starting November 11.

These are called AirDots, and they feature similar functionalities as Apple's products.

Xiaomi Mi AirDots Youth Edition look different from the AipPods; they support Bluetooth 5.0 and weigh 4.2 g each. The Xiaomi's version; the AirDots also have some tech attached to the pretty design such as the tappable controls and a compact charging case.

As for the specifications, the Mi AirDots come packed with the latest Bluetooth v5.0 with a dedicated touch zone on each of the earbuds.

Spotted by Engadget, the Chinese smartphone maker's $30 AirDots are completely wireless earbuds, created to compete with the likes of AirPods and Pixel Buds, but at a fraction of the price. You will be able to buy via Xiaomi Youpin, Xiaomi Mall, Jingdong, Suning and Tmall.

The earphones have 7.2mm audio drivers, touted to produce deep bass and high-quality stereo audio. They connect to devices via Bluetooth 5.0 and support user interaction, allowing you to tap on the shell to trigger specific commands.

The carry case can be used to charge the AirDots up to three times. The headset can play music up to 4 hours and there is a charging box that comes along with the device which can charge the headset for 12 hours. Once juiced up, the earbuds reportedly provide a playback time of four hours. The surface of both earbuds is touch-sensitive and can be used to execute actions like play/pause music, handle calls, and more.
