LeBron James and James Jones share a deep-rooted friendship dating all the way back to their days with the Miami Heat, then the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Lakers are 5-6 on the season and have one of worst defenses in the National Basketball Association as well.

Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton said Lonzo Ball was unable to finish Friday's practice due to turning his ankle when landing on another player's foot during a scrimmage period.

Kevin McHale on NBATV commented on the pressure the young Lakers are experiencing playing alongside LeBron for the first time, saying that Chandler may be able to bring the same veteran maturity but alleviate some of the pressure of playing on the same team as LeBron James.

LeBron James had 24 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, and Kyle Kuzma scored six of his 21 points in the final minutes of the Los Angeles Lakers' 114-110 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night.

Chandler's presence had an immediate impact for the Lakers as he pulled down eight rebounds in a little under 23 minutes.

Overall, the Lakers played great and gave us a glimpse of what they are capable of once again. Through the incredibly small sample size of one game, the results have been good, as Chandler made life hell for Karl-Anthony Towns in the team's 114-110 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

When presented with the claim, LeBron said it was really Chandler who benefited the most. The Minnesota loss spoiled a superb performance from Derrick Rose who finished with 31 points.

"It's been a insane 48 hours, but it was great", Chandler said after his Lakers debut Wednesday night, as quoted by Clutch Points.
