More heavy rain for Tuesday

We could see one, perhaps two inches of rain Monday night into Tuesday morning. Thursday, showers could cover western Alabama, all of the way over to the Golden Triangle Region and points north. Highs on Thursday will warm into the middle and upper 40's.

Isolated light rain showers for the late afternoon into the evening.

"With more generally colder temperatures, there will be an increased chance of snow, particularly for northern hills, during spells of more unsettled weather".

Skies clear tonight and temperatures will plummet to 17°, not a record low (11°) but frigid enough. South wind 6 to 11 miles per hour becoming light and variable.

A cold front will drift across the area tomorrow, which could bring a few flurries or sprinkles. The chance of precipitation is 60%.
