The NFL has moved the Los Angeles Rams' Monday night showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs from Mexico City to LA due to the poor condition of the field at Azteca Stadium.

If one player was double-teamed, another player did an excellent job of taking advantage of their one on one matchup and pushing the pocket.

Rumblings of the players for both teams wanting to boycott the game had risen in recent days when photographs of the field's condition made their way through social media.

The game will now be played at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

"If Monday night's game is played in Mexico City, a number of Rams and Chiefs players are now strongly considering not playing in that game on that messy surface, per sources". There's no reason for either team to risk their season by playing on an unsafe field.

The league said it consulted with the NFL Players Association and inspected the field Tuesday afternoon with internal and external field experts.
